Hon’ble Dr. A.P.J Abdul Kalam delivers lecture to African Nations

Hon’able Dr.A.P.J. Abdul Kalam, the former President of India delivered a Special Talk on ‘Empowering 3 Billion People’ from the Pan African e-Network Studio at TCIL Headquarters New Delhi to 47 countries in Africa on 23rd May, 2012. The lecture was well attended from 96 locations in Africa and more than 1600 persons comprising students, doctors, academicians, and VIPs attended the lecture. This was the first in series of Lectures to African Nations by Eminent Personalities of India and Africa in the field of Art, Culture, Education, Health, Social development, Science and Technology etc. The lecture was followed by a questionnaire session in which the participants put as many as 84 questions, which were answered by Dr. Kalam to the satisfaction of all.
